Between us, we bring over 27 years of experience running dog training and behaviour businesses, and we know the struggles of doing it all.

We each built a six-figure dog training business, but the road there wasn’t easy.

Jo’s story:

Jo grew her local dog training business into six figures while also home-educating two young boys, completing a full-time university degree, and caring for her mum through the rapid decline of Alzheimer’s, all while building Canine Business Academy. She knows exactly what it feels like to juggle everything and still keep moving forward.

Vicky’s story:

Vicky spent 14 years running puppy classes, adolescent classes, adult classes, ad-hoc 1:1s, hoopers, and canine massage (the list could go on). But it came at the cost of exhaustion and no time for herself. By shifting her mindset and business model, she created a way of working that served her clients better and gave her more time with her husband, her dogs, and even a social life again.

Together, we co-founded Canine Business Academy to help other trainers skip the years of struggle we went through. Through workshops, coaching, and our growing community, we’ve supported hundreds of trainers to step into confidence, clarity, and consistency.
