We wanted to earn money by dog training.
We wanted to spend time with our family and friends and not work all the unsociable hours. We wanted to work with clients that wanted to listen to what we had to say about the knowledge we were learning. We wanted clients that would do the work and be interested in it as well.
We didn't want to work with clients that just wanted quick fixes and just wanted cheap solutions.
We wanted our passion to pay us and to make a really big impact on people and dogs we were working with.
So, when we realised that the typical dog trainer model just didn't seem to work for us, we started looking at other industries and seeing what they were doing. We tested, we tried so many different things, we threw money at getting enquiries, we tried things that we hated doing (including fucking social media reels haha definitely not for us).
We threw ourselves into learning the business stuff.
Off the back of it all we generated consistent £5-6k months and had the best relationships with our clients!
When we were able to rinse and repeat this we knew we wanted to share this with as many people as possible! And that's how Canine Business Academy came into fruition.
